It always amazes me how one tiny idea can turn into something truly inspiring just like our “Beautiful Bride” photo shoot! It literally started as a tiny idea and with thanks to the creative talents of some of Port Macquarie’s finest wedding vendors the photo shoot literally sprang to life!
Without losing the magic of the photo shoot I would be remise not to mention a few little secrets or should I say hints and tips about our shoot. Our gorgeous models Emma (bride), Kristy and Danielle although may look like professional models were simply good friends. I mention this because it shows the importance of choosing a really great photographer, one that puts you at ease right away and has the ability to capture “the moment” shots. We didn’t rehearse any of the shots or even have a shot list we just let the girls have a little fun and let Mel work her magic to capture some truly beautiful moments.
The other thing I would like to mention is that the bridesmaid dresses were $10 each! Bargain!! This goes to show that sometimes you don’t have to spend a fortune to get a great look and with the right accessories any outfit can look amazing. We were lucky enough to have the gorgeous accessories supplied by none other than April Styles from Madd Lola who handmade every piece. April creates custom designs so please give her a call to discuss any ideas you may have.
